A native Houstonian with a Masters in Accounting from UT Austin, Maya lived in Algeria and England during high school, attending boarding school in Switzerland. She arrives at Carnegie Technologies with a diverse 20-year career as a CPA in various industries including technology, manufacturing, insurance and real estate. She’s been an auditor with Ernst & Young, an SEC Reporting Manager for a public manufacturing company, a consultant primarily focused on large restructuring accounting / finance team projects and a VP Accounting managing a large team at a complex multi-company development and property management organization, making her exceptionally well suited for supervising the treasury function, financial budging & reporting and accounting controls & processes for the diverse array of cutting edge companies under the Carnegie Technologies umbrella.
